What Is The Marriage Course?

It is a seven-session course set in a private atmosphere where you will sit at a table for two, with the goal to listen, share and strengthen your marriage with your spouse. There will be a session each week covering topics such as  Strengthening Connection, The Art of Communication, The Power of Forgiveness.

Why Do The Course?

We regularly service our cars to tune them and keep them running smoothly and make sure we are aware of any part that is about to breakdown, or wear out. We do Personal Development for our work. The best sports professionals spend hours being coached and perfecting their technique. The greatest achievements in life take practice, training, and dedication.

It is the same with marriage. A strong, loving and lifelong relationship doesn’t happen by chance. It takes effort, being intentional and dedicated to keep the fun and romance alive. We can all learn how to make even the happiest marriage better. We also welcome couples living together, or those who may be marrying again and would like to get to know each other even more.

- Can I bring my children?

Because this is a course designed to build connection and communication between married couples, this will be a child-free space. Please arrange your own childminding for the duration of the course - 7 weeks. 

- Who is the course for? 

This course is designed for married couples who want to strengthen their relationship with a biblical worldview and perspective. Whether you have been married for 4 months or 40 years, this course can help strengthen your relationship with God and with each other.

If you are looking for pre-marriage sessions, please reach out to our church office as we have a different course that we offer to couples who are preparing for marriage. 

- Can we just do one session, or do we need to do the whole course? 

We recommend you do the entire 7 sessions together to get the most out of the course.
